Welcome to Pack 67 - Twinsburg, Ohio

Pack 67 is the Cub Scout Pack located in Twinsburg, Ohio. This Pack is chartered by Faith United Methodist Church, at 2560 Post Road. This year-round program for boys 1^st through 5^th grade is designed to achieve the goals of Scouting.

Regular Pack meetings are typically held the first Tuesday of the Month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, usually in the fellowship hall of the Faith United Methodist Church. Pack 67 is lead by Cubmaster Craig Kirkpatrick and Assistant Cubmaster Jason Blyler.

Den meeting days and times vary.

Welcome back! We have new dens and new committees forming now, lots of opportunity for both the boys and parents. Remember, we have a Great Pack because of the volunteer efforts of current and past adult leaders - now is your opportunity! Take a leadership role if you can, be an assistant if you can, be on a committee if you can. Training is available for all positions.

Fitness Center Camp-in - February 24th

Don't forget that the Pack 67 Fitness Center Camp-in is fast approaching. It will be held on Friday, February 24th.

Details:

Fee is $10 per family payable when you arrive.
Check-in will begin at 7:30pm and the doors will be locked at 8pm.
Scouts will have access to the swimming pool 8pm-10:30pm and the fieldhouse 6pm-12am.
Lights out at 12am in the fieldhouse.
Please bring along your sleep gear including an air mattress if desired.
The fitness center will open bright and early at 6am, so it will be an early wake-up call.
NO COTS PERMITTED PLEASE ... they run the risk of scratching the fieldhouse flooring.

Please plan on attending this fun event. For less than the cost of a movie and a popcorn you get an entire evening of fun and games with your son. Don't miss out! We hope to see you there!

Information from the last Pack Meeting

Thanks to all who attended the Pack Meeting on January 10th. If you were unable to attend, here is what you missed:

The Winter Camp-in at the Twinsburg Fitness Center is on Friday, February 24th. Please arrive by 8pm as the doors will be locked then. Please keep an eye on your e-mail for information regarding the fee. We will have a sign-up sheet at the Pinewood Derby.
Pinewood Derby Information:
- Pinewood Derby will have a brief meeting on Monday, January 16th at 630pm (FUMC)
- Pinewood Derby Clinic was announced (at the Mulcahy home - check your e-mail if you need the address):
  - January 14th, 10a-2p
  - January 15th, 12p-4p
- Down & Derby Movie Night is on Saturday, January 14th at FUMC. Movie will start at 7pm. Check your e-mail for more details.
- Pinewood Derby weigh-in is Friday, February 3rd from 7:00pm until we are done at FUMC. Cars will be weighed and then will be impounded by derby officials for the derby on Saturday. The weigh-in is mandatory if you are participating in the derby.
- Pinewood Derby will take place on Saturday, February 4th from 12noon until about 4pm at Dodge.
Blue & Gold Ceremony:
- Scheduled for Sunday, March 4th at 2pm. The banquet will be held at the Twin Haven banquet hall of SS Cosmas & Damian Parish (10439 Ravenna Road)
- WE NEED SOME VOLUNTEERS! Please consider attending the Blue& Gold committee meeting on Monday, January 16th at 630pm (FUMC). We are in need of help in organizing.
Popcorn Fundraiser:
- Prizes were awarded for the popcorn fundraiser.
- The boys who raised $600 or more got to throw a whipped cream pie in the face of their Den Leader (Ethan M., Caleb S., Eric B., Jakub W., Brendan D., Chris B., and Alex S.). Thanks to the great effort from all of the boys for this fundraiser.
- Fundraising will start up again in September. We have some exciting things planned!

The February and March Pack Meetings will not be held due to the Pinewood Derby on February 4th and the Blue & Gold Banquet on March 3. The next regularly scheduled Pack Meeting will be on April 3 at 7p (FUMC).
