Popcorn Sale, Important Dates!

The 2011 Popcorn Fundraiser has ended.  We were able to raise nearly $19,000.  The funds raised will help our scouts participate in some great activities including the Pinewood Derby, Camping at the Fitness Center and the Blue & Gold Banquet.

Special Recognition goes to the following:

  • Ethan M. for being Top Seller with over $900 in sales
  • Den 10 for being the Top Den in Total $ Sales & Total Product Sales.  Den 10 sold over $4,000 in popcorn with 13 boys ($320.74 average per child)

Let's work to make next year even bigger & better.  We will be looking for volunteers to help organize the popcorn fundraiser for 2012 before the end of this scouting season.  If you have ideas on how to make changes, please consider participating in this worthwhile and needed committee!

2011 Popcorn Fundraiser

Greater Cleveland Council Prize Program

  • $600 Club
    • Free ticket to the Cavs game
    • Free ticket to "Q for the Day" including a Monsters' game
    • Free Indians ticket
    • Free Gladiators ticket
  • $1,500 Popcorn Sellers
    • Choice of a $50 gift card from Wal-Mart or Amazon.com
  • $2,500 Popcorn Sellers
    • 6% of gross sale credited to scout's Scholarship account
  • Mystery Houses
    • There will be 35 mystery houses located throughout the council
  • Blitz Day
    • Top selling pair of Scouts from each District will win a pair of iPod Touches
  • Top Council Salesmen
    • The top six selling scouts will receive two tickets to a suite at a select 2012 Cavs game. Scouts will also receive an NBA size basketball personally autographed by a Cavs player.
  • Military Donation Sales
    • Scouts who sell $100 in Military Donations earn $100 Military Club patch
